York to London

Took the rail from York to London today. The cost of rail from Edinburgh to York was 23 pounds and from York to London 38 pounds--the cost was far less than we found on the internet. We took a taxi from the rail station to the hotel--22 pounds--the only way to go. Much better than lugging the luggage on the tube or bus. We will take the on-off bus tomorrow to begin our tour.
