Venice

Venice is a crazy maze of extremely narrow streets, tall buildings, winding canals, and thousands of people. I am completely disoriented. I just follow Susan around hoping I do not lose sight of her in the crush of people. I think you could live between some of the streets and never see the sun. Shops and cafes abound. St. Marks Square is tremendous and absolutely beautiful at night with all the lights. This morning we have a tour with a local guide and then have the rest of the day to explore. I will down load pictures from Amsterdam, Haarlem, Germany and Venice today or when we get into Florence.
