Paris

We have enjoyed our stay in Paris. Yesterday we wandered through Montmartre and came across a wine and food street fair...one of those hidden treasures Rick Steves talks about. In addition, street artists were everywhere. We bought some paintings of Montmartre. We visited the five domed Roman/Byzantine Basilica of Sacre Coeur. It is a spectacular church...perhaps my favorite. From the front doors, visitors have a view of Paris better than any other. It was fun watching people sitting on the Basilica steps eating, drinking wine, enjoying the sun and the panoramic view.
